MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to SANA news agency, the fifth terror attack in the northeastern province of Hasakah killed at least five people, with two injured.
Earlier in the day, two explosions took place in the city of Tartus, one in Homs and another at the entrance to Damascus, leading to no fewer than 16 people killed and more than 40 injured.
No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for these terror attacks so far. Two terrorist groups are operating in Syria – the Jabhat Fatah Al-Sham (formerly known as the Nusra Front) and the Daesh, both outlawed in Russia and many other countries.
