DAMASCUS (Sputnik) – Clashes in the province's town of Khan Touman, some 6 miles from the city of Aleppo, renewed on Sunday, violating ceasefire, after the Nusra Front militants and its affiliates started an assault on the city.
"The Army uses various weapons, aerial bombardment alternate with artillery shelling of militant groups in the western area of Khan Touman, as well as terrorist supply routes," the source said.
The militants bear significant losses and some of their vehicles and guns are destroyed, he noted.
