KIEV (Sputnik) — After A321 crash, Russia, and a number of other countries banned all flights to the Egyptian resort. Kiev currently studies the issue of flight safety, without suspension of its air communication with Egypt.
"The foreign ministry recommends Ukrainian citizens, who are planning to travel to Egypt, to take into account the uncertainty of the security situation in the country, before the completion of investigation of the causes of the Russian A321 crash and stabilization of the situation," the ministry said in a statement.
On October, 31, an Airbus A321 operated by the Russian airline Kogalymavia crashed in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. All 224 people on board died. The crash has become the largest civil aviation disaster in Russian and Soviet history.
