MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Over 40 Palestinians, mostly young men and a few women, have been killed since the start of October after stabbing Israeli security officials or attempting to set off explosive devices.
"We will not surrender to despair – we will stand together," organizers of the event, the left-wing Meretz party, wrote on their Facebook event page.
Rally goers held up placards with "Jews and Arabs against hatred" and "Jews and Arabs against racism" written on them, as seen on video footage broadcast online.
