Clashes Between Palestinians and Israeli Police Erupt in West Bank
14:46 GMT 16.10.2015 (Updated: 15:13 GMT 16.10.2015) Following calls for violence by Hamas and other Palestinian factions, clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police were reported in Ramallah, Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus and Tulkarm soon after the end of Friday prayers.
Soon after the end of Friday prayers a number of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police erupted across West Bank, including Hebron and Bethlehem, and Gaza Strip, where a Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire.
A wave of violence, including several deadly attacks, has struck Israel in the past few weeks following clashes between Palestinians and Israelis at East Jerusalem’s Temple Mount holy site in September.
