MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow has confirmed its readiness to coordinate and hold consultations with foreign militaries, including Turkey, in regard to Russia’s operations in Syria in the fight against the Islamic State, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.
“I would like to remind you of yesterday’s statements from the Defense Ministry, where readiness was voiced of immediately starting consultations with [foreign] militaries, including the Turkish military, on the subject of explaining the annoying misunderstandings, as well as starting coordination in the future while the Russian Air Force are carrying out their duties over the territory of Syria,” Peskov told journalists.
