    Islamic State Claims Responsibility for Deadly Karachi Attack

    The Islamic State claimed responsibility for an attack on Shia Muslims that left 43 people dead. The incident took place earlier on Wednesday in Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan.

    Gunmen intercepted a bus with 60 members of Ismaili Shia Muslims (a religious minority) en route to a mosque, broke in and fired at passengers with semiautomatic rifles and 9 mm handguns.
