    World Leaders to Pay Tribute to Late Saudi King in Riyadh

    World leaders are expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia’s capital Saturday to pay tribute to the deceased King Abdullah, who died on Friday at the age of 90.

    MOSCOW, January 24 (Sputnik) Among the leaders scheduled to arrive to Riyadh are British Prime Minister David Cameron, French President Francois Hollande and US Vice President Joe Biden, according to the BBC. Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif will also participate in the ceremonies.

    The sixth King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, died on Friday after weeks spent in hospital with a lung infection. King Salman took over his post, pledging to continue the political course of his predecessor.
