A 5.7-magnitude quake hit Honduras, the United States Geological Survey said.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres, at 17:13 local time.
No injuries or damage has so far been reported.

According to seismologists, the epicentre of the quake was registered 46 km to the north of the Savannah Bight.
