Paraguayan Foreign Minister Eladio Loizaga and top management of Sputnik news agency discussed further informational cooperation on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "Latin American media market is multifaceted and technologically advanced. That is what makes it of a great interest for us as an international news agency, which broadcasts in more than 30 languages, including Spanish. We want to continue to develop our activities in this region, as well as to share our best achievements in the field of information technologies," Sputnik Deputy Editor-in-Chief Sergei Kochetkov said.

In June, Sputnik signed a cooperation deal with the leading state media in Paraguay, which are part of country's Secretariat of Information and Communication (SICOM).

According to the deal signed by Kochetkov and Paraguayan Communication Minister Fabrizio Caligaris Ramos, Sputnik will exchange information with Paraguayan IP news agency, Paraguay TV channel and with country's national radio broadcaster.

Sputnik is a news agency and radio network with multimedia news hubs in dozens of countries. Sputnik broadcasts through its websites in over 30 languages, as well as analog and digital radio, mobile apps and social media. Sputnik newswires, available by subscription, run around the clock in English, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese.
