"The incident unfortunately took place…. This zone is patrolled by Brazilian armed forces, they got to the place, immediately appeared on the scene of the incident. We have heard of similar incidents before, we maintain constant contact with the military, they have stepped up patrols of these areas. The investigation began, we will keep [you] informed," Correa said at a press conference.
He added that the incident is likely to been an act of hooliganism rather a felony.
