#KayakSofa Conquers Twitter Following Alleged Incident at Rio Olympics

Social media went beserk on Friday, as reports emerged that a kayaker at the Rio Olympic Games capsized as a result of a collision with a submerged sofa.

The rumor about the incident was triggered by Paul Kelso, a reporter for Sky Sports in the UK, who tweeted: “Hearing an Olympic kayaker may have capsized after hitting a submerged sofa. Story of day & possibly the week if true.”

Since then the report has not been confirmed by any credible source. The name of the kayaker, who allegedly hit the furniture, hasn’t been announced as well.
