    Ex-Argentine President Kirchner Charged With State Fraud

    Former Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was charged with defrauding the state, media reported Saturday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the BBC, Kirchner is accused of manipulating the Argentine Central Bank to sell dollars at artificially low prices, costing the country $5.2 billion.

    Kirchner denied the accusations.

    According to the British broadcaster, the former Argentine leader is also a suspect in a money laundering case during her term.
