MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced a government reshuffle and the creation of new ministries, Maduro's press service said.
"President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro announced the revolutionary new team, which will work hand in hand with the people," the press service said.
The press service added that besides new ministers in the already existing ministries, a new Ministry of Foreign Business and Investment would be headed by Jesus Farias, while Emma Ortega was expected to be responsible for urban agriculture in a respective newly-created ministry.
In December, after the Venezuelan opposition received two-thirds of the seats in the national parliament for the first time in 17 years, a significant shift in the Venezuelan policy was initiated.
