    At least nine people died and 15 injured after two vehicles collided and fell into the water in Brazil.

    MOSCOW, November 8 (RIA Novosti) — At least nine people have died on Saturday in Brazil after a bus crashed onto the river, the authorities of Bahia State said.

    The tragedy happened in the town of Itapebi when a bus crashed down from a 20-meter bridge.

    According to witnesses, the incident happened when a car attempted to overtake the bus. Two vehicles collided and fell into the water.

    While the car that was the reason behind the crash has not yet been located, the heavy bus was taken 10 meters away by the tide.

    The Telesur TV channel reported 15 people were hospitalized, some of them in a critical condition. The number of victims may increase, according to doctors.
