British Prime Minister Theresa May has told the parliament, "we are well on our way to delivering a smooth and orderly Brexit."
She called on the lawmakers to stop the debate on leaving the EU from ending in threats or intimidation.
Earlier this month, the EU leaders agreed “to move on to the second phase" in Brexit talks after “sufficient progress” had been made on the first phase of the talks to allow negotiations to start on a transition deal and a final trade agreement.

In the intervening period, a BMG Research poll conducted for The Independent newspaper has indicated that 51 percent of Britons now favor staying in the EU as compared with only 41 backing Brexit, the widest margin since the June 2016 vote.
