BERLIN (Sputnik) — The survey conducted by TNS Infratest Politikforschung on behalf of Korber Foundation in mid-October and mid-November among 1,001 adults, showed that along with Russia, Germans see the United States and France among their top allies.
In October, the United States has been considered the most important foreign partner for 60 percent of respondents, dropping to 56 percent in November. France's popularity has also fallen over the last month from 60 to 48 percent. At the same time, Russia's rating has grown from 14 to 17 percent.
In addition to these three countries, the Germans consider China, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Italy, Austria and Poland important political partners.
