MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Passengers at Highbury and Islington were told to leave by staff and the tube station was briefly closed, the Mirror newspaper said. Some people reportedly smelt burning.

A spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) said the station had been reopened after the incident was resolved, although he did not comment on the cause for the evacuation, according to the Telegraph daily.
