UK PM May Says Brexit Schedule Remains Same Despite Recent Court Ruling
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson used a German literary expression to describe turmoil in British parliament after UK’s vote on EU exit, British media reported Friday.

"I would really not read too much into the legal decision you’ve just seen today or indeed some of the sturm und drang [storm and stress] that’s going on in the Parliament at the moment," he told reporters in Berlin, as quoted by The Independent.

Johnson, who is on his first visit to Germany as the top UK diplomat, was speaking a day after England’s High Court ruled the UK government could not officially notify Brussels about the country’s decision to quit the European Union without a vote in parliament.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has been under pressure to unveil details of her Brexit plan, with several opposition parties accusing her of having no blueprint for EU talks. Her ruling Conservative party has also been torn from within, and three Tory members of parliament resigned in two months.
