WARSAW (Sputnik) — The mayor of Warsaw asked Russia to pay 16.5 million zlotych (about $4.3 million) for the Russian Embassy's non-contractual use of two buildings in the city, local media reported Monday.
"We are talking about the non-contractual use of two real estate objects: one on 2B Bobrowiecka Street in 2009-2015 and one on 45 Kielecka Street in 2012-2015," the official official representative for the public prosecutor's office said, as quoted by PAP news agency.
The mayor of Warsaw demands 8.9 million zlotych for the first building and 7.6 million for the second one, as they were used without necessary agreements, the news agency reported.
Russia currently owns a number of buildings in Warsaw and uses a few more there on a contractual basis.
