The suspects are also reported to have planned a purchase of four Kalashnikov rifles worth 600 euros ($673), according to the media outlet.
France has been hit by a series of terror attacks over the past two years. Following the November 2015 attacks in Paris, France declared a state of emergency, which was further extended for six months in July after a deadly truck attack in the seaside resort of Nice.
