ANKARA (Sputnik) – Two Russians detained during a Turkish Special Forces sting operation in Istanbul on April 8 have been arrested on suspicion of spying, Turkey’s Milliyet newspaper reported Wednesday.
According to the newspaper, Yuri Anisimov and Alexander Smirnov are suspected of spying, as well as in playing a role in the murder of Abdulvakhid Edilgeriev from Chechnya.
