MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The security measures at Belgium's Antwerp airport have been strengthened, as flights have been redirected following blasts at Brussels' Zaventem airport, an officer from the marketing and communications department at the Antwerp airport told Sputnik on Tuesday.
"The security measures were strengthened in Antwerp Airport following the explosions in Brussels airport," the officer said.
Earlier in the day, a source in Belgocontrol Moscow’s press service told Sputnik that flights that had been scheduled to arrive in the Zaventem airport had been redirected to regional airports.
