Brussels police neutralize one of the three gunmen involved in today's anti-terror raid in Brussels, according to RTBF.

According to Libre Belgique, four police officers were injured during the raid, one of them has been taken to hospital in critical condition.

RTL's expert on terrorism said that the raided apartment was supposed to be empty.

"The police were checking whether the terrorists were using the flat to prepare their attacks. The investigators had no idea someone was there," the expert said.

According to RTBF, people in the area overheard the police ordering the suspects or suspects to surrender before an assault was launched.

RTBF broadcaster reports that the police are storming the building on Dris Street, where they believe one of the suspects is barricaded. However the information is yet to be confirmed by Belgian officials.

According to Soir1, there were two shootouts 20 minutes apart.
