    Turkish Airlines flight TK34 has been forced to make an emergency landing in Shannon, Ireland due to a bomb threat, media reported Sunday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Boeing 777-300 en route from Houston (Texas) to Istanbul carried 227 passengers on board.

    According to The Irish Times, the crew became aware of a security threat after they found a written note on board.

    On November 22, a Turkish Airlines A330 en route from New York to Istanbul was forced to make an emergency landing in Canada due to a bomb threat.
