An Islamist from Germany has been declared wanted in connection with the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris, local media reported.

BERLIN (Sputnik) — Hussein D.,42, was allegedly residing in the town of Dinslaken, the Spiegel Online publication reported on Friday. The town located in North Rhine-Westphalia, where a failed search operation was conducted to locate one of the most widely known suspects in the Paris attacks, Belgium-born Salah Abdeslam.

Hussein D. was reportedly related to a group of militants who had gone to fight in Syria, the publication said. Abaaoud Abdelhamid, who is believed to be the organizer of terrorist attacks in Paris, was in active contact with the group and lived in the same house with its members.

On November 13, terrorists attacked several venues around Paris, killing 130 people and injuring over 360 Islamic State (ISIL or Daesh,) which is outlawed in Russia, claimed responsibility for the attacks.

In the wake of the attacks in the French capital, defense and security situation has been under particular scrutiny globally, as the main suspects in the Paris attacks remain at large.
