    London Million Mask March Leaves 3 Officers Injured, 50 Protesters Arrested

    Massive protests against corruption and censorship in the UK capital resulted in the arrest of 50 people and left 3 policemen injured, the UK Metropolitan Police said in a statement on Friday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday, some 18,000 masked activists in London participated in a global rally against censorship, corruption and war, known as the Million Mask March.

    "50 arrests, 3 officers in hospital, police horse injured, police car damaged — protestors now dispersed," the statement read.

    According to the statement, the officers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries sustained policing the protests.

    The Million Mask demonstration is an annual event, which has been held across the globe since 2012.
