Greece's foreign, defense and finance ministers remained in office in the new coalition government of the country.

ATHENS (Sputnik) — Greece's foreign, defense and finance ministers remained in office in the new coalition government of the country.

Nikos Kotzias will serve as the foreign minister, Panos Kammenos will keep his post of defense minister, and Euclid Tsakalotos will head the Finance Ministry.

Deputy Prime Minister Yannis Dragasakis kept his role in supervising the bailout-related ministries.

Tsipras to Reappoint Former Ministers to Key Posts in Greek Cabinet
Giorgos Houliarakis, who was appointed to the post of the country’s interim finance minister in late August and was the chief negotiator for the Greek government in the run-up to the third bailout package, became the first deputy finance minister and will be responsible for the Treasury.

The data on the Cabinet's composition was published by the Greek government on Tuesday evening.

On Wednesday, the newly-elected government will be sworn in.

Earlier on Monday, re-elected Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras swore an oath of office in Athens after his left-wing Syriza party won the parliamentary elections in Greece, taking over 35 percent of votes.

Syriza has confirmed the formation of a coalition with former political partner, the Independent Greeks party (ANEL).
