KIEV (Sputnik) – NATO and Ukraine will soon begin the practical implementation of their trust fund projects, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said Monday.
“In a few weeks, a Ukraine-NATO meeting will be held, where we will begin the practical implementation of projects in the framework of the trust funds,” Klimkin told the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council in Kiev.
NATO members agreed to increase support to Ukraine during the alliance's summit in Wales in September 2014.
Since then, five trust funds have been established to address issues such as medical rehabilitation, cyberdefense and logistics development in Ukraine.
