British journalist Graham Phillips plans to hold an auction and a fundraising event for Donbas on March 30 in London.

Everyone is welcome to attend, the journalist said. All those eager to participate could bring anything they want to send to the war-torn region, that he knows intimately. Phillips spent months covering the conflict in Ukraine's southeast.

Phillips intends to send the funds to a hospital in Donetsk, as well as the city of Pervomaisk, he tweeted in Russian.

The auction and the fundraising event will be held at Walkers of Whitehall, located in the heart of the London near the Trafalgar Square.

A jacket Phillips wore first in the city of Debaltseve, a key transport hub between the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, is among the items up for auction.

"I wore my Novorossiya jacket around London yesterday. Several Russians, Novorossiyans recognized it, wanted a photo. One Ukrainian lady recognized it, didn't like it much but a succinct, polite, explanation of situation there silenced here. Several Londoners asked what it was, being told it was a 'new country', to which they wrote on Facebook “cool.”
