DONETSK, November 30 (Sputnik) – The humanitarian convoy trucks in Donetsk and Luhansk have been unloaded and more than 100 vehicles are headed toward the Russian border, a Russian Emergencies Ministry official said on Sunday.
"All trucks are unloaded and have left Donetsk and Luhansk. They are headed toward the Russian border," deputy head of the crisis management center with the Russian Emergencies Ministry Oleg Voronov told journalists.
He also said that as soon as the trucks returned to Russia, Moscow would start forming the ninth humanitarian aid convoy for the Donbas.
On Sunday, more than 60 trucks supplied Donetsk with over 800 tons of humanitarian aid, while over 40 trucks delivered more than 400 tons of humanitarian cargo to Luhansk.
The humanitarian convoy was carrying mainly construction materials, as well as food and medications. The delivery of the cargo was complicated by bad weather conditions, snowstorms and icing of the road.
