The seventh report of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on the situation in Ukraine will be published on November 20 and will include period up to October 31.

MOSCOW, November 14 (Sputnik) – The seventh report of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on the situation in Ukraine will be presented on November 20 and will cover a period up to October 31, spokesperson Rupert Colville said Friday.

“The next report on the situation in Ukraine will be published next Thursday, November 20. It will cover the period up to the end of October, October 31, so it is […] a longer period […] than in the previous reports,” Colville told a news briefing in Geneva.

Earlier it was expected that the seventh OHCHR Ukraine report would cover a period of one month beginning September 17 and contain information on mass graves discovered in Ukraine's eastern region of Donetsk. OHCHR officials noted the report may also include data on cluster munitions used in Donetsk attacks in October documented in an October 20th Human Rights Watch report.

Kiev authorities launched a military operation against independence supporters of southeastern regions of Ukraine in April. The sides have reached a ceasefire agreement in September but have been accusing each other of violating the truce. According to UN data, fighting has killed more than 4,000 people and injured over 9,000.
