The US Department of Defense finally revealed that the number of US troops stationed in Syria is about four times greater than originally announced.

Despite initially claiming that there are only 500 servicemen deployed to Syria, the Pentagon had to admit that it currently has at least 2,000 soldiers deployed to the Middle Eastern country.
