Russian energy giant Gazprom will issue 500 million Swiss francs ($518.1 million) worth of five-year eurobonds with a yield of 2.25 percent, a banking source told Sputnik Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The company lowered its bond yield range from 2.25-2.5 percent to 2.25-2.375 percent.

In July, Gazprom held a roadshow in Geneva and Zurich organized by Deutsche Bank, Gazprombank, J.P. Morgan and VTB Capital.

In late March, media reported that Gazprom planned to issue 850 million UK pounds ($1 billion) worth of seven-year eurobonds with a yield of 4.25 percent, following a eurobond roadshow in Edinburgh.

Also in March, Gazprom sold 750 million US dollar-denominated 10-year bonds with a 4.95-percent yield.
