MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Coal production in Russia is expected to grow by 3.2 percent this year, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Wednesday.
"Coal production — 385.4 million tonnes, an increase of 3.2 percent," Novak told reporters of the anticipated 2016 results.
He added that anticipated coal export volumes of 165 million tonnes would constitute 5.8-percent year-on-year growth.
