MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Yildirim added that the goal could be reached by lifting trade restrictions and visa regime liberalization.
"During the past year, cooperation volumes have decreased in certain spheres…. We have reached $36 billion trade turnover, this means there is a great job ahead of us and the $100 billion trade turnover is our target which can be reached," Yildirim told reporters.
Earlier in the day, the Turkish prime minister, who arrived on his first official visit to Moscow, held talks with his Russian counterpart, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, to discuss various issues, including those related to trade, investment and energy spheres.
