German Finance Chief 'Confident' in Success of Eurozone Talks on Greece
16:46 GMT 14.08.2015 (Updated: 16:51 GMT 14.08.2015) Just hours before an extraordinary Eurogroup meeting on the third bailout deal, Greece's parliament approved the corresponding aid package amounting to 85 billion euro ($94 billion).
BERLIN (Sputnik) — German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said he was confident of success in Friday's talks on the Greek issue, where he and his Eurozone counterparts are expected to reach an agreement on a third bailout deal for Athens.
"I am confident in the fact that we are going to get a result today," Schaeuble said as he arrived for the meeting of all eurozone finance ministers in Brussels.

On August 20, Greece is due to make a 3.4-billion-euro ($3.8 billion) repayment to the European Central Bank (ECB), one of its major international creditors.
If the negotiators are unable to reach an accord on Friday, they will have to arrange a bridge loan for Athens, Schaeuble added.
