CHETRA, a division of engineering company, Traktornye Zavody, showed its latest bulldozers and front loaders at EXCON 2011, an international trade show for heavy construction equipment. CHETRA will begin assembling its tractors in India soon, the concern’s press-service reported.

 CHETRA, a division of engineering company, Traktornye Zavody, showed its latest bulldozers and front loaders at EXCON 2011, an international trade show for heavy construction equipment. CHETRA will begin assembling its tractors in India soon, the concern’s press-service reported.

Over 400 companies from around the world – the United States, Britain, South Korea, Turkey, Italy and China – took part in the exhibition, which was held at the end of November. The show highlighted engineering achievements in the building industry, while focusing on efficiency, productivity, safety and quality, as well as on environmental protection.

Indian companies have purchased over 300 pipelayers and bulldozers from Traktornye Zavody since the CHETRA brand appeared on the Indian market in 2004.

CHETRA Machinery & Industrial Group N.V., as Zavody is known abroad, is a major Russian manufacturer integrating scientific, technological, production and financial resources both in Russia and abroad. The holding controls over 20 plants in nine Russian regions, as well as in Denmark, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Serbia and Ukraine.
