Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for May 20

MOSCOW, May 19 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from May 20, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 20.6054 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 51.0356 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.5828 rubles

10 Danish krones - 46.4334 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.9987 rubles

1 euro - 34.5988 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 37.6236 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 22.2370 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 24.0587 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.6873 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 17.9632 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 44.3569 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 40.2796 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 17.0727 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 53.6882 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.9309 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 22.3333 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 24.3473 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
