MOSCOW, March 31, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov met with President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ex-Premier Yevgeny Primakov on Wednesday.
They discussed the implementation of the program of Russia's industrial development aimed to boost Russia's economic recovery and the problem of relations between the authorities and businessmen, the chamber's press service said.
"Fradkov pointed out the important role of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry possessing substantial resources to develop business in Russian regions," the press service reported.
Mikhail Fradkov and Yevgeny Primakov emphasized that "the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry should promote favorable climate for all business forms, equal conditions for competition and removal of bureaucratic obstacles and corruption".
