LUKOIL'S SUBSIDIARY TO START PETROL AND DIESEL FUEL SUPPLIES TO IRAQ SINCE APRIL

MOSCOW, March 19, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Litasco, Lukoil's wholly owned subsidiary, has signed a contract with the Refinery Associates of Texas Inc. (USA) for petrol and diesel fuel supplies to the northern provinces of Iraq. RIA Novosti was informed of this by Lukoil Friday.

"Under the contract, Litasco undertakes to carry out all operations connected with the logistics and the provision of commodities and finances for the supplies," Lukoil's press-release reads.

The contract was signed for a term of three months, provided it can be prolonged to 12 months.

The quarterly volume of petrol supplies is 180,000 tons, and of diesel fuel supplies - 130,000 tons. Supplies will be started from April 1, 2004.

Litasco was registered in Geneva in 2000. The company's main areas of activity are oil and petroleum products transportation and trade in oil and petroleum products.

Litasco is Lukoil's exclusive trader in oil and petroleum products.
