MOSCOW, MARCH 9. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- The Russian cabinet has approved and submitted for ratification by the State Duma (the low chamber of Russian parliament) the agreement on cooperation and partnership in the exploration and use of space with the European Space Agency, Australia and Italy, the Government Information Department said to RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
Yuri Koptev, general director of Rosaviakosmos (the Russian Space Agency), and deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak have been appointed the official cabinet representatives in the consideration of the matter by the chambers of Russia's Federal Assembly.
