MOSCOW, February 10 (RIA Novosti correspondent Marina Gradova) - Russia's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade forecasts a gradual growth of the prices for gas and electricity in Russia in the short-term perspective. Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Arkady Dvorkovich said this addressing a meeting of the Directors' Club of the Russian Industrialists' and Entrepreneurs' Union.
"They will stimulate energy saving but will not be prohibitive for industry and for the development of the economy," he noted.
According to Dvorkovich, the prices will differ "not because we will artificially underestimate the prices but because our prices are lower than the world ones."
