ABU DHABI, JANUARY 19 (RIA Novosti correspondent Yuri Zinin) - Kazakhstan welcomes the United Arab Emirates' investment in its economic development projects, President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan said at "The Investment Possibilities of Kazakhstan" seminar in Abu Dhabi, the UAE mass media reported today.
Mr. Nazarbayev mentioned Kazakhstan's stability, great economic possibilities, rich natural resources and labor. He also drew attention to his country's favorable situation as a crossroads of commercial routes between Asia and Europe.
According to the president, Arab investors' interest in Kazakhstan has increased recently.
Bank directors, prominent representatives of the business community, and members of the delegation accompanying President Nazarbayev on his official visit to the UAE took part in the seminar organized by the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
