New Delhi (Sputnik) — The latest Daesh propaganda video shows a Daesh health service center wherein a doctor of suspected Indian origin, codenamed Abu Muqatil al-Hind, is trying to persuade doctors from all over the world to lend a helping hand to Daesh in Syria. The video also features an allegedly radicalized Australian doctor treating patients at the center.
"We have people from several countries working at the physiotherapy center of the hospital…. We have doctors from Sri Lanka, Australia, Tunisia, and Russia…. We have a team of female staffers for women and children visiting the hospital for treatment. We appeal to medical professionals from all over the world to come and join the Islamic movement," Abu Muqatil al-Hind is heard saying in the video shared on Twitter by India Today.

The video titled "Health Services in the Islamic State" has put the Indian security agencies on high alert as they suspect that Abu Muqatil al-Hind could be from Southern India, and it is highly likely that he is the chief of the Daesh recruitment cell active in the area.
"According to reports and confessions from the arrested Daesh operatives, several youths have joined ISIS and they are mainly of southern Indian states. But the fact is that most of these persons had been working in the Gulf countries earlier from where they were radicalized. Apart from that, some youths from the south Indian states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh has been lured by ISIS operatives and went to Syria. Some of them died in Syria while fighting, whereas many of them were caught by the alert Indian security agencies on their return to India," a security expert, Qamar Agha, told Sputnik.
The security agencies are reportedly interrogating the Daesh operatives in their custody to trace the whereabouts of the doctor. The agencies have also activated their cyber cell units to get a clue about the doctor in the video.
