    Two vessels collided on Saturday near Pingtan Island, China's Fujian province, leaving victims, Xinhua news agency reported.

    BEIJING (Sputnik) — Two vessels collided on Saturday morning off southeast coast of Pingtan Island, China's Fujian province, leaving at least three people dead, local media reported.

    ​​According to Xinhua news agency, the incident occurred at 05:30 a.m. local time (21:30 GMT on Friday). So far, only four people out of 13 have been rescued, while six are missing.

    The search and rescue operation is underway.
