BEIJING (Sputnik) — Two vessels collided on Saturday morning off southeast coast of Pingtan Island, China's Fujian province, leaving at least three people dead, local media reported.

According to Xinhua news agency, the incident occurred at 05:30 a.m. local time (21:30 GMT on Friday). So far, only four people out of 13 have been rescued, while six are missing.
The search and rescue operation is underway.
