NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — A horrific video of two Indian men falling off a gorge while trying to perform stunts for the camera has surfaced on social media.
The men, reportedly in their early twenties, were part of a group of revelers at the Amboli ghats (flight of stairs leading to a waterway) in Maharashtra in central India. The viral video shows the two of them repeatedly climbing on and over a bar fencing atop the gorge before one of them starts to stumble. When the other tries to grab him, he too loses balance and both end up plunging down. Their friends, shooting their antics, could do nothing but gape in horror. Imran Gardi, 26, and Pratap Rathod, 21, belonged to a group of revelers from nearby Kohlapur city.

Local media footage showed one of them trapped among boulders but rescuers have not been able to reach the spot due to heavy rains and dense fog.
The two men were seemingly inebriated as the video shows them with bottles in hand, climbing the fence around the edge of the valley and backtracking once or twice. Before plunging down, the two are seen standing on the edge, beyond the fence.
