Cross border trade and travel remain unaffected and its business as usual at the Uri trade Post.

New Delhi (Sputnik) — Despite increasing strains in bilateral relations in recent months, trade and travel remain unaffected between India and Pakistan.

On Thursday, 13 trucks from Pakistan crossed the border to India while 26 trucks carrying Indian goods reached Pakistan.

Indian vehicles carrying goods like chili seeds, embroidery material, cumin seeds and black cardamom were allowed into Pakistan while the trucks from Pakistan to India were loaded with almonds, dried dates and mangoes.

Apart from trade relations, travel services between the countries also remain unaffected. Train services between Delhi and Lahore are running on schedule as of now. People on both sides of the border are using the trans-national bus services as usual.

Meanwhile, India cancelled a high level meeting scheduled on Thursday to review its Most Favored Nation status granted to Pakistan.
