NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — The Indian capital of New Dehli has been put on high alert due to a possible attack by a woman of Indian descent with Canadian citizenship who allegedly has ties with Daesh, which is prohibited in numerous countries including the United States and Russia, a source in the Indian Home Ministry told Sputnik on Tuesday.
"Delhi is on high alert as intelligence agencies advised Home Ministry on the basis of intelligence inputs and call intercepts that a Canadian citizen of Indian origin likely to strike in New Delhi. Intelligence agencies also warn that the lady has links with ISIS [Daesh]," the source said.
