At least four people have been killed when a small plane operated by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) crashed in Delhi, local media reported on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to local NDTV broadcaster, the incident happened near the Delhi airport at 9:50 a.m. local time (04:20 GMT).

The plane, carrying 10 people, reportedly hit a wall, crashing into a septic tank. Over a dozen fire engines are working at the scene.

India's Home Affairs Minister Rajnath Singh said on Twitter that the news of BSF plane crash was "extremely painful" and said he was on his way to the crash site.
